Pretty Little Liars 4×24 | A is for Answers | New A Theory

And we finally get answers! For what seemed like a thousand episodes, all we’ve been getting are more questions. The Season 4 finale is probably one of the best (if not the best) episodes PLL has given us so far.

Ali tells All.

If you’re active on Twitter, you’ll see the trend #alitellsall going on around especially during the last week of season 4. I was doubtful about this because in the past seasons, we’ve been told that we’d be getting answers but we actually end up asking more questions. This episode, however, legitimately answered most of our questions. The episode has eliminated possible suspects off of the list just like the possibility of A being one of the girls.

The flashbacks were indeed the highlight of the episode. It’s nice to see what actually happened the night Ali disappeared/got killed (whatever happened, although we know now that Ali is alive and that they buried a different girl).

1. Ali was hit by someone on the head the night she disappeared.

And Mrs. DiLaurentis saw who did. The question is…who? And why did she get all hysterical and try to bury her own daughter? Is the attacker someone related that she is trying to protect? Is this Jason? Is it a twin?

2. Melissa knows who killed the girl we thought was Alison.

Peter Hastings suspects that Spencer was the one who killed the girl (who they thought was Alison) but Melissa tells her dad that it wasn’t Spencer. She then  whispers to her father’s ear who did it but we don’t actually hear anything. Who the hell is this person?

3. Ezra knows who A is.

In the monumental scene at the rooftop, the girls, together with Ezra, encounter A. Ezra says I know who you are. But then he gets shot and we no longer have the opportunity to find out who A is. Judging by the strength of this person, we can definitely say that A is a guy.

4. Ezra gets shot.

I think this is the writers’ way to make Aria forgive Ezra. Ezra has done horrible things and if you think about it, it would be difficult for the writers to come up with a reason for Aria to reconcile with Ezra. I think this is the only way for Ezria to come back. Hell, of course Ezra is not dead. Caleb already left, we can’t afford losing another guy.

Fast forward to what happens next, I don’t think we will know A’s real identity even if Ezra stays alive. He could have some type of amnesia and forget about all the A details (bummer, I know).

5. Is a Wren?

It’s probably one of those out-of-this-world theories but it could be him. From this episode, we know that A is a guy. I remember the writers saying that A is a character in the pilot episode. We cross out every girl in the pilot episode, now we’re left with these people as suspects:

Toby – he was revealed to be one of A’s minions before so I don’t think it would be him.

Mr. Hastings – could be? I don’t have any reason in mind but it could be him.

Ezra – for the past seasons, I was convinced that it was him but now we know that he is not A.

Detective Wilden – he’s dead, so…no.

Wren – now we are left with Wren! He definitely had something going on when he was in Radley – which the writers have yet to explain to us what happened to him.

 

It’s really exhausting trying to guess so I guess we’ll just see. I think that Season 5 will be a very interesting and exciting season for everyone.

Pretty Little Liars 4×20 : Free Fall | Ezra is A Theory 2.0

Can we all take a moment and enjoy Lucy Hale’s face before delving into the dirt of the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars?

Is it just me or is this episode one of the, if not the most, breathtaking and thrilling of all of the puzzling ones given to us by this show? The beginning has got us all hooked and it was brought to a very very interesting and scream-producing climax (a.k.a. Ezra haunting Aria in the forest scene) but, as it has always been, we’re left with even more questions (rather than answers) after watching the episode. Let me list a few:

1. So Ezra knows about Alison’s whereabouts because he’s writing a crime novel about Alison…so does that mean Ezra is not the real A?

2. Is there another A?

3. Is Mona the blond girl who showed up at Ambrose Pavilion ? If Ezra is not A then why was he trying to make Mona do stuff?

4. What is up with Mona and Mike?

5. What is going to happen to Spencer now?

6. Who’s the black gloves-wearing person who collected Ezra’s manuscript pages? Is it Ezra or it someone else?

7. How will Aria handle the truth?

Obviously, I need more than the past episodes to figure out the answers to those questions but I have formulated yet again, more theories that are yet to be confirmed or denied. Some of my previous theories are here (some of them turned out to be actually true, some are half true, some are not):

THEORIES

NOT THE END OF EZRIA

Obviously, with Aria knowing that Ezra has betrayed her all along, we’d expect a huge break on the whole Ezria love team. Despite that, I still don’t believe it is the end of Ezria (no one does). PLL is about Ezra and Aria.

EZRA SPITS OUT LIES

Didn’t our hearts just soften and eventually melt when Ezra told Aria that he has lied about a lot of things but never to her? Let’s all take a pause and not focus on those beautiful blue eyes and think about what’s in front of us. Ezra lied to Aria about really major stuff (him knowing Alison even way before, etcc), what makes us think that he wasn’t just lying about the everything he told Aria at the ski lift? Let’s not dismiss the idea that Ezra could still be A.

A IS A CHARACTER SHOWN IN THE PILOT EPISODE

Can I just reiterate what the writers have told us some time ago? A is a character in the pilot episode, meaning, it cannot just be a random person who would just pop out of nowhere some time when the show is already about to end. He/She has got to be a person we’ve known all along.

It could be one of the girls : Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer

It could be one of their parents or siblings. It could be Jenna, Toby, Ian (who’s dead), Maya (who’s also dead), Wren, Melissa or Ezra, It could be actually just Alison all along, for all I care. Let me know if I missed out on anyone.

There’s really not much choices left. If it’s not Ezra, then we’re left with Melissa, Wren, Jenna, Toby, Jason, the liars and their parents.

WREN AND MELISSA 

Obviously, they have been MIA for the past season..? (I can’t really remember and I don’t want to) There are definitely unresolved issues with these two people. Does anyone even remember the Black Widow? Well, at the time, I highly believed it was Melissa but for some reason, the issue was just dismissed and we moved on to another person-of-interest.

Wren is up to something, for sure. The last time we saw him he was highly suspicious. Hopefully we get to see him before the season ends.

EZRA WOULD HELP THE LIARS FIGURE OUT WHO THE REAL A IS

A lot of people speculate that Ezra would be the way for the girls to find out the real A‘s identity (with all his technology and his background of Alison, etc), I think that is just bull. If that is the real case, then the writers are bull, boo! Come up with a better plot please! Or better yet, explain why for several episodes, Ezra was shown to be a creepy stalker with double personality.

Why Ezra Is A Part 2 | My Pretty Little Liars Theory

I could barely even remember the first time I suspected Ezra of being A. I don’t know if this is something everyone didn’t expect or just didn’t want to expect because Ezra is such a babe. Watching the summer finale ignited a million different feelings inside of me. I didn’t know if I should be happy because my instincts were right or be sad because Ezra is the bad guy.
If you haven’t known, the summer finale of Season 4 revealed Ezra as A. Although I have anticipated that way before, seeing it happen before my eyes is still different. Now that we know it’s him, we’ll have to think of reasons why. It’s not like the writers just decided to make him A without actually building up the plot to lead to that conclusion.

1. Ezra and Ali dated.
Now that it’s revealed that Ezra is A, it is not an impossibility that Ezra dated Ali. If you haven’t known, Ali is alive. (Another shocker!) Ezra could be the one torturing/stalking Ali the whole time and since Ali is nowhere to be found, Ezra is taking it out against her best friends.

2. Ezra plotted his meeting with Aria.

Ezra has his own reasons for being A, reasons which we do not know yet. I know for sure that it was not fate that brought Ezra to Aria. He probably threw himself at her knowing how vulnerable she was. This is so he could get inside her life and mess with her but things didn’t turn out the way he expected. He probably fell for her. (Hopefully)

3. Ezra is rich. A is rich.
Again, reiterating the same point I have made on my previous post, Ezra Fitz (Fitzgerald) is pretty big time. We know that A is big time too since he’s been doing all these stalking and gift-giving for so long already he must have some money.

Now the ultimate question forming in the deepest corners of my brain (and soul)…does Ezra really love Aria? More than that, does Aria know?

Most probably, Aria does not have any idea about Ezra’s life. His life prior to Rosewood is still unknown. We know tidbits of his past life like his romantic affair with Maggie, his name changing from Fitzgerald to Fitz, his attendance at Hollis College (remember the episode when Ezra and Aria really first met, when Aria bumped into Ezra at Hollis) but apart from that, we never really got to know this guy. We just know that he is a very attractive, deep, and intelligent English teacher.

On a different view, (this might seem irrelevant) but in the opening credits of the show, it is Aria doing the “ssshhh”. It could be because Ezra is A. It could be because she knows. But I think she doesn’t know. It would be exciting to see her find out.

Does Ezra love Aria? I think yes. This will make Ezria a very epic love story. I think Ezra deeply cares for Aria in his own twisted way.

1. Ezra set up Noel in Season 1. He planted the exam answer keys in his locker.

2. At the Halloween train, Ezra was like a knight in shining armor who magically appeared out of nowhere.

3. Just lately, Mike’s friend’s (who spread nasty rumors about Aria) car was trashed. Before that scene, we see Ezra looking at Aria from the outside.

Why Ezra is A | My Pretty Little Liars Theory

We all have our own As in our mind but personally, I think it’s Ezra Fitz. I’m 90% sure of it. Make fun of this post later when you find out it’s not him, but I swear, I could feel it. Ezra is not just an ally, or a helper, or a worker, he is A.

You might ask why:

He’s too nice to be in the show.

No one can be that nice for a show like this. Everyone, and when I say everyone, literally everyone, has done something really crazy in the show. He’s never really shown as a guy who does bad things, he’s always portrayed as the good guy. And something about it is just so fishy. He’s never done anything bad, has he? If he has, let me know, but as far as I know, he hasn’t really done anything bad at all. How can someone be such a saint? There has to be something that he’s keeping. I think the writers are trying to make him seem like he’s harmless so we wouldn’t suspect on him.

Nothing bad has happened to him yet.

Ezra hasn’t done anything bad ever. And nothing bad has happened to him ever, too! That’s not a coincidence! Nothing is a coincidence in the show!

Nothing bad has happened to Aria ever.

Except for the Halloween episode where she was locked in a box with dead Garett, I’m pretty sure, nothing major has happened to her yet. Compared to what happened to Spencer, Hanna & Emily. I can’t really say that Aria is on the A team, but Ezra’s probably keeping her safe because Ezra is A!

He always seems to be away when something bad happens and shows up clueless afterwards.

Evidently shown in the Halloween episode. Come on! It’s a train, you can’t just make it stop and hop in it when you want to! He shows up after Aria is locked up in the box. He’s probably checking up on her whether or not she was hurt or scared. He’s just showing up randomly, it’s really weird.

Also in the latest episode, when Maggie calls Ezra and asks him to pick up Malcolm, then Ezra ends up asking Aria to pick him up instead because he was having an interview??? What an excuse! He probably kidnapped his son to scare Aria.

My theories:

Ezra is a member of the N.A.T. club

As we all know, Ezra is just around the age of Melissa, Jason, Cece, Garett and all those people. There is a huge possibility that he already knew them before. He’s probably part of the club. F0r all we know, Melissa and Ezra know each other and are just keeping their mouths shut about it.

Ezra and Alison met before

If Ezra is A, there is only one reason why he’s after the four girls. He and Alison met before. I’m not quite sure why, how, or whatever, but he probably knew about her way before he hooked up with Aria.

A is rich because Ezra is rich

We all know Ezra is a Fitzgerald and he’s bigtime. That explains where A gets her (his) money from to pay for his minions and technology he uses to terrorize the girls.

But then again, there’s still the theory about Alison having a twin, Courtney (just like in the books). Also, in the Halloween episode, Alison tells a story about twins to the kid she’s babysitting which could be seen as a clue, but I’m not quite sure. The writers are just probably messing up with our head. I don’t think they’re going to follow the way of the books. It would just be too corny and boring if they did. I’m really crossing my fingers that Ezra is the real A. Imagine how surprised we would be if we saw him in a black hoodie?

Pretty Little Liars 3×23 | I’m Your Puppet

WHAT AN EPISODE!

That episode just blew me away. But probably not half as much as the Toby is A episode.

WREN

First of all, who wouldn’t fall for Wren? He’s a doctor. He’s super gorgeous. He has British accent. He’s like the epitome of  a perfect man. But moving along…this episode just makes him look shady, as if he’s trying to conceal something that might get him into trouble. I’m sure he’s not helping the A team, or Toby, or Mona, I just think he’s hiding something that could help everyone solve the problem.

MELISSA 

I never trust Melissa. You are crazy if you do. Ever since the beginning of the show, Melissa is portrayed as someone so mysterious and shady. I’m even thinking that she could be part of the A team if not the master of the A team. I’ve always thought she secretly hated Spencer and the girls, and especially Alison. I’ve always thought that she and Alison had a past  that probably started her hatred towards Ali. 

Clearly, with what the episode had shown us, Melissa isn’t innocent. She asked Cece Drake to visit Mona when she was in Radley. Come on, what is up with that?! She’s clearly up to something. Or maybe the writers are just trying to confuse us but whatever.

TOBY IS DEAD

Seriously?! Who buys this plot? Toby cannot be dead. I’m just sure of it. If he’d be dead, they would’ve showed us how, why, when, bla bla bla. But obviously, they didn’t. They just showed us a dead body with his tattoo on it, then we’re left to assume it really is him. Come on, it’s Pretty Little Liars, no one is forever dead.

SPENCER JOINS THE A TEAM

Whoa. Whoa.

That was unexpected. The moment I saw Spencer holding that black hoodie in her arms, I knew…I knew. But I wasn’t really scared or worried about it, she’s probably just looking for a way to find out who A is. Spencer can’t really be part of it. That would be crazy. She’s like A’s nemesis, she can’t be on her side.

Something about this show makes every character shady and weird. But nonetheless, I’m still looking forward to that scene where Spencer unmAsks the girl in the red coat/hoodie/jacket whatever. Last episode of the season next week! I’m so stoked!

Pretty Little Liars 3×21 | Out of Sight, Out of Mind

MALCOLM IS INJURED UNDER ARIA’S WATCHFUL EYE

Since Maggie is out for an interview and Ezra is tutoring someone, Aria is left to babysit little Malcolm. But something happens…while Aria’s not paying attention when she is on the phone with a friend, Malcolm hits his chin on the floor and gets injured.

In the hospital, Ezra and Aria seem to have a fight and we’re not sure whether or not Maggie is okay with Aria being part of “the family”. I’ve always had doubts about Maggie. I’m not certain about her character. Something still tells me that Malcolm isn’t Ezra’s son. I still keep my fingers crossed in this.

 

WILDEN DIED?

            When Ashley hit Detective Wilden with her car, we cannot expect him to die just like that, right? And we’re right, his body is, once again, like other characters, missing. We all know who keeps his body. A. I wonder how this will affect Hanna and the girls. Hanna’s mom always seems to find a way to get Hanna into trouble, maybe she should leave Rosewood already.

Meanwhile, Hanna finds Wilden’s car in their garage and without any explanation, she and Aria are able to push the car into the lake. How in the world did that happen?

 

TOBY IS DEAD

Spencer, being Spencer, followed Mona to the woods and found a dead man, who has a tattoo 901 Free at Last, whom we all think is Toby. We seriously CANNOT fall for this. Toby can’t be dead. Besides,  Spencer didn’t even take out the helmet from the dead man’s face so she’s not sure if it really is Toby.

SPENCER IS OFFICIALLY CRAY-CRAY

            Upon seeing dead Toby, Spencer breaks down and goes cray-cray and she is brought to a mental institution, I’m thinking Radley. Well, I’m one of those people who would never ever believe that someone like Spencer would fall apart just because of that. I’m thinking, she makes it look like she’s crazy so she’d get into Radley and probably start snooping into the files and figures out things for  herself. We all know Mona was once in Radley and Toby was visiting her. I’m thinking it’s Spencer’s clever way of finding out the truth.
