Guilt, Time Machines and Easter Sunday

Hey! Happy Easter!

As opposed to other people who create their resolutions’ list for New Year, I create mine usually for Easter. I just think that it’s appropriate to start a new life and to change for the better because it’s Easter—a new life and a new chance to be a better person.

Easter Sunday always makes me look back at the previous year—every horrible and crazy thing that I have done—and of course, it’s always a downer because after realizing how much of a horrible person you’ve been…there comes the guilt.

GUILT. It feels bad because you know you’ve erred and you can’t do anything about it because it’s already been done. That’s when you go wishing for a time machine and hoping that you could just go back and undo the things you’ve done so the guilt wouldn’t be there anymore.

Well I’m well aware that Easter isn’t the time to be moping around, guilt-tripping yourself and all that. I know that it’s actually the time to start anew. So with all my guilt aside and squashed deeply, I would start a new life starting today. (not tomorrow, but today :D) I’m going to do my best to be the better version of myself and to also learn from my mistakes.

I hope that you’ll do the same too.
Happy Easter!

Pretty Little Liars 3×24 | A Dangerous Game

20130320-192404.jpg

What an episode! Pretty Little Liars has never failed to give us surprises. The past few episodes have been really intense and this conclusion to the third season didn’t help at all. I’m actually even more frustrated. Who the hell is that byotch in the red coat? And please, don’t take the direction of the books: Don’t make Alison have a twin! I think the show would be pointless if they did that. I’m looking forward to A being one of the main characters. The writers once told us that The Big A is someone we’ve already seen in the Pilot. He/she’s not just going to pop out of nowhere. A has always been there all along.

EZRA AND ARIA BREAK UP

20130320-192520.jpg

It’s Season 1 all over again. Ezra decides to take his job at Rosewood High and because of this, Aria breaks up with him. Their relationship is going down the drain anyway, there’s no point in continuing. But then gain, I will always have this idea in my mind that Ezra is A.

SPENCER IN THE BLACK HOODIE

20130320-192637.jpg

We finally see Spencer in the very infamous black hoodie when she goes to a restaurant to meet up with Toby. We find out that Spencer was actually the one who kidnapped Malcolm. This is as to make Aria & Ezra break up to get Mona’s trust.

TOBY AND SPENCER REUNITE

Spoby fans, rejoice! I’m a huge Spoby fan and this episode has fulfilled all my supressed desires for the past episodes that Toby hasn’t been in. I missed Toby and Spencer together but this episode has made up for the loss.

ANYWAY, we find out in this episode that Toby just agreed to be part of the A team to protect Spencer. We’ve been right about him all along! They have their moment in some motel.

SHANA

I don’t even know how to spell her name.

Apparently, Shana is somehow related to Jenna, not biologically, I suppose. But regardless, I’m thinking Shana is just created by the writers to divert our attention, and of course, prolong the show. It was revealed that Jenna and Shana were the ones who helped Wilden when he was hit by Ashley’s car. I’m guessing it’s another subplot, but I don’t really care.

SHADY MELISSA

Melissa has always been shady. We see her in the episode talking to Jenna and Shana. What is up with this girl anyway? She’s already old, why can’t she just let it go?

MONA

What can I say about Mona? She’s a lunatic. This episode has given us a complete view on Mona. She’s not just conniving with A to terrorize the girls. She’s doing it because she wants to see who the girl in the Red Coat is.

We find out that no one has ever seen the girl in the Red Coat ever.

ALISON

I believe we’re all baffled with how the season wrapped up. Emily, Aria, Spencer & Hanna have always had hallucinations of Ali being alive. Now, we’re no longer certain whether or not Ali’s just a hallucination. She could be alive, right? It could also be her twin. We are clearly not sure. If Alison is A, then why would she burn the house down and save the girls in the end? That’s twisted.

NO WREN
*long, pathetic sigh* No hot, British-accent doctor for us this final episode.

What can I say? 4th season is going to be a very long wait. I just want to know who that red coat person is. It could be anyone. But I will always believe that it’s Ezra wearing an Alison mask. Happy waiting!

Emily Owens, M.D. 1×13 (Series Finale) | Emily… and the Leap

Hello everybody! Since I have yet to find something to talk about in this blog, I chose to talk about, yet again, another TV series. Hopefully, this blog will not be solely about my TV series rants. Anyway, I watched the season finale of Emily Owens, M.D. once again, and of course, the reactions flooded back to me.

Don’t you just hate it when a network just cancels a show because of its poor ratings? These networks are just so profit-oriented. I get it, they make shows to earn money but what about those people who actually found the show substantial and entertaining? What about those people who stuck by the show and waited for some progress? I, for one, have waited for the plot to reach its peak, which is, to see Emily Owens’ love life thrive. But what did they do? They cancelled it, left us hanging by a thread. It was just 13 episodes. They didn’t even bother finishing the whole first season! Come on, no one bought it when they said that the 13th episode was the season finale. Everybody knew it was the mid-season finale. It wasn’t supposed to end there.

Who did Emily choose in the end? We’re clearly clueless. The supposedly “season finale” ended just like how Hart of Dixie Season 1 ended. But the difference is, Hart of Dixie actually renewed for 2nd season, and there were explanations as to how things ended up the way they did. However, Emily Owens, M.D. ended tragically. When I finished watching the episode, I felt like I was robbed—robbed of a proper ending.

I know probably everyone has been shipping Will & Emily for the last couple of episodes BUT

On a personal note, I think that Will is a douchebag. Yes, he might be outrageously goodlooking, smart, sexy, hot, etc but clearly, he is a huge douchebag. Emily confesses to liking him but he rejects her. What else? He dates her high school nemesis. Now that Emily has clearly moved on with some guy, meaning, he’s no longer in the center of attention of Emily, he feels bad and his ego is hurt. He only wants her because someone else wants her too, period.

Towards the end of the season, Emily and Micah have this huge emotional connection, which I adored so much. Not to mention, the very romantic, surprising kiss outside the bar under the stars. Plus, the talk in the Records Room…Emily and Micah are the thing. But you all saw the ending, Emily and Will went homerun. What is up with that? I was actually pissed. They all robbed us of a good ending.

Seriously? Is the network just going to think that the show is open-ended and that we can just go with our lives not knowing who Emily actually ended up with? Is it a show where you just imagine what happened in the end? They should’ve given the show a try. It’s actually a very informative, interesting and funny show unlike other superficial shows like Glee, The Carrie Diaries (sorry) and etc.

There could’ve been more to the story. I’m just terribly sad that for the rest of my life, I will never know who she ended up with. Haha. Oh well…

I guess it’s a good thing that we were able to see the two sides of the story. We both saw how Emily would be with Micah and Will. I guess I could live with that. I’ll always remember Micah as the Greek guy from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Will as the Wade’s hot brother from Hart of Dixie.

Why Ezra is A | My Pretty Little Liars Theory

We all have our own As in our mind but personally, I think it’s Ezra Fitz. I’m 90% sure of it. Make fun of this post later when you find out it’s not him, but I swear, I could feel it. Ezra is not just an ally, or a helper, or a worker, he is A.

You might ask why:

He’s too nice to be in the show.

No one can be that nice for a show like this. Everyone, and when I say everyone, literally everyone, has done something really crazy in the show. He’s never really shown as a guy who does bad things, he’s always portrayed as the good guy. And something about it is just so fishy. He’s never done anything bad, has he? If he has, let me know, but as far as I know, he hasn’t really done anything bad at all. How can someone be such a saint? There has to be something that he’s keeping. I think the writers are trying to make him seem like he’s harmless so we wouldn’t suspect on him.

Nothing bad has happened to him yet.

Ezra hasn’t done anything bad ever. And nothing bad has happened to him ever, too! That’s not a coincidence! Nothing is a coincidence in the show!

Nothing bad has happened to Aria ever.

Except for the Halloween episode where she was locked in a box with dead Garett, I’m pretty sure, nothing major has happened to her yet. Compared to what happened to Spencer, Hanna & Emily. I can’t really say that Aria is on the A team, but Ezra’s probably keeping her safe because Ezra is A!

He always seems to be away when something bad happens and shows up clueless afterwards.

Evidently shown in the Halloween episode. Come on! It’s a train, you can’t just make it stop and hop in it when you want to! He shows up after Aria is locked up in the box. He’s probably checking up on her whether or not she was hurt or scared. He’s just showing up randomly, it’s really weird.

Also in the latest episode, when Maggie calls Ezra and asks him to pick up Malcolm, then Ezra ends up asking Aria to pick him up instead because he was having an interview??? What an excuse! He probably kidnapped his son to scare Aria.

My theories:

Ezra is a member of the N.A.T. club

As we all know, Ezra is just around the age of Melissa, Jason, Cece, Garett and all those people. There is a huge possibility that he already knew them before. He’s probably part of the club. F0r all we know, Melissa and Ezra know each other and are just keeping their mouths shut about it.

Ezra and Alison met before

If Ezra is A, there is only one reason why he’s after the four girls. He and Alison met before. I’m not quite sure why, how, or whatever, but he probably knew about her way before he hooked up with Aria.

A is rich because Ezra is rich

We all know Ezra is a Fitzgerald and he’s bigtime. That explains where A gets her (his) money from to pay for his minions and technology he uses to terrorize the girls.

But then again, there’s still the theory about Alison having a twin, Courtney (just like in the books). Also, in the Halloween episode, Alison tells a story about twins to the kid she’s babysitting which could be seen as a clue, but I’m not quite sure. The writers are just probably messing up with our head. I don’t think they’re going to follow the way of the books. It would just be too corny and boring if they did. I’m really crossing my fingers that Ezra is the real A. Imagine how surprised we would be if we saw him in a black hoodie?

Pretty Little Liars 3×23 | I’m Your Puppet

WHAT AN EPISODE!

That episode just blew me away. But probably not half as much as the Toby is A episode.

WREN

First of all, who wouldn’t fall for Wren? He’s a doctor. He’s super gorgeous. He has British accent. He’s like the epitome of  a perfect man. But moving along…this episode just makes him look shady, as if he’s trying to conceal something that might get him into trouble. I’m sure he’s not helping the A team, or Toby, or Mona, I just think he’s hiding something that could help everyone solve the problem.

MELISSA

I never trust Melissa. You are crazy if you do. Ever since the beginning of the show, Melissa is portrayed as someone so mysterious and shady. I’m even thinking that she could be part of the A team if not the master of the A team. I’ve always thought she secretly hated Spencer and the girls, and especially Alison. I’ve always thought that she and Alison had a past  that probably started her hatred towards Ali.

Clearly, with what the episode had shown us, Melissa isn’t innocent. She asked Cece Drake to visit Mona when she was in Radley. Come on, what is up with that?! She’s clearly up to something. Or maybe the writers are just trying to confuse us but whatever.

TOBY IS DEAD

Seriously?! Who buys this plot? Toby cannot be dead. I’m just sure of it. If he’d be dead, they would’ve showed us how, why, when, bla bla bla. But obviously, they didn’t. They just showed us a dead body with his tattoo on it, then we’re left to assume it really is him. Come on, it’s Pretty Little Liars, no one is forever dead.

SPENCER JOINS THE A TEAM

Whoa. Whoa.

That was unexpected. The moment I saw Spencer holding that black hoodie in her arms, I knew…I knew. But I wasn’t really scared or worried about it, she’s probably just looking for a way to find out who is. Spencer can’t really be part of it. That would be crazy. She’s like A’s nemesis, she can’t be on her side.

Something about this show makes every character shady and weird. But nonetheless, I’m still looking forward to that scene where Spencer unmAsks the girl in the red coat/hoodie/jacket whatever. Last episode of the season next week! I’m so stoked!
